Examinations
In a semester, the students will study for 75 working days or 16 weeks. At the end of the semester, there will be an examination both in Theory and Practicals conducted by Board of Technical Examination, Dept. of Technical Education, Govt. of Karnataka. Results of examinations will be declared with in a month. During the semester the student is also continuously evaluated and internal assessment marks are taken into account for announcement of each Semester results. 75% of attendance is compulsory for issue of examination Admission Ticket for each of the Practical and Theory Subjects.
Tests, Examination and Progress Report
The Polytechnic conducts three internal tests, Assignments and activities like Quiz, mini projects, students seminar etc, for the continous internal evaluation (CIE) is evaluated for marks, which is added along with semester end examination (SEE) marks for the declaration of the result. Participation is compulsory for all the above activities. The attendance and Progress Report of students are sent to their parents periodically, so that parents can interact with the Institution for improving the performance of their ward. Parents meet is held once in every Semester for reviewing wards progress. In turn parents are to meet the Principal, HOD and other staff members to know the progress of their ward. At the end of each semester the Board of Technical. Exams, Dept. of Technical Education, Govt. of Karnataka conducts examinations in both Theory and Practical for eligible candidates.
